I did consider calling this blog Addict in the Attic; however, reasoned that it did not really give a good sense that I'm blogging about the loads of books I have about my home. Books I had every intention reading but ended up neglecting.
With a two year break from Uni, I've decided to clear some of these out whilst still attempting to keep up with current purchases and giveaways that I blog about at Found Between Pages.
To qualify for this blog, the books have had to be sitting on my shelf for at least five years. Should someone wish for me to review an older publication, I am willing to do so, but those books require an original publication date of greater than seven years - unless I actually already have the book on my shelf (see Contact & Policies for more detailed information). I realise this seems an arbitrary number, but it is based on specific events in my life and helps me to keep things organised.
By the end of April I will have my entire 'Attic' list up, twenty-four of which are already committed toward a challenge on Goodreads. Which is basically three proper dustings a month since I won't be starting the challenge until then.
We'll see what that leaves me for 2013.
